Business Model

How can I trust this business model?

By using Escrow Policy to secure your payment. When you pay for an item at www.linkchina.com we retain your payment until we receive confirmation from you that you are satisfied with your purchase once it's been delivered.

By using Seller Evaluation to let you make a judgment to the seller's business ability with going through a screening process, sellers can be rated and reviewed by previous buyers allowing you to double check a seller's background and selling history.

By using Seller Restricted Selection. Not everybody can be our supplier! Only few of them can pass the selection with multiple rules as Service, Supplying channel reliability, but not only the lowest price. We also respond to the shipment to let us have chance to make the Quality Control for our buyers.

Qualification of LinkChina Selected Seller

All of applicants must provide copies of:

All of information must be approved by National Security Identity system.

Also, applicants need to prove their business or trading history to our Selected Seller service staffs as following:
Positive trading record in other platforms with active account
No negative business record or bad trading credit
Has been doing business in industry more than one year.
Our staffs would be sent to interview the applicant if necessary.

Their products must be fit under National standard or International Standard (CE, FCC. RoHS, etc.)
Most of products are asked to send to us before listing online as a sampler.

FAQ

How do I know LinkChina has received and approved my payment?

After you paid the orders that you made, LinkChina hasn't verify the money yet, it will take sometimes (maximum 12hours), then you will be receive a confirmation email from us.

When can I receive my order after I paid?

It depends on which courier company you chose and keep in touch with the seller; most sellers love to communicate with buyers, and can tell you the status of your shipment.

If I forgot my password, what should I do?

Please click on " Forgot password?" Enter your registered E-mail address, and your mail-box will receive your LinkChina user ID and password after few seconds.

Can I change my user name or email address?

We are sorry but this is not possible. Changing your username or email address on our site would mean to change your identity. However, if you are determined to have another username, you can register again on our site with the username you want.

How do I contact the seller?

You can contact LinkChina sellers by clicking on the "Ask seller a question" link on the item page. This feature allows you to send an email to a seller, even if you have not yet purchased the item.

How do I get a refund?

You can write an e-mail to the Customer Service department and we will do our best to help you.

Shipping

How do I track my purchase?

When a seller ships your item, you will receive the tracking information via email. You can then visit the corresponding carrier's web site for online tracking information.

Customs clearance can increase the delivery time if your package is held up by customs officials. Before you place an order, you can click the "Calculate shipping cost" link to get the discounted shipping costs to and from any country or region under different shipping methods.

Tips:

  • If your tracking number does not appear immediately on the carrier's site, check back periodically for updated information.
  • If you receive a damaged package, please do not accept the package, or report the case to the corresponding carrier.
  • Please do not accept the package from the carrier, if you find the item, or the number of items in the package is different from what you ordered.

Shipping Costs

International shipping costs are based on a combination of the following:

Therefore, costs may vary greatly depending on what, where and how the seller is shipping, and can be considerably higher for international destinations.

Generally, buyers pay additional costs that may apply such as duties, taxes and customs clearance fees. For example, international rates may or may not include pickup and door-to-door delivery with customs clearance. Your package will arrive at your door, but then you might need to pay extra international fees.

Custom & Tax

Custom is a government agency responsible for regulating shipments entering a country or region. All shipments being sent to and from a country or region must clear customs first. It's always buyer's responsibilities to clear customs and pay the relevant custom duties.

LinkChina sellers don't add taxes, VAT, or other hidden charges. You pay us what you see on the order screen, i.e. goods subtotal + shipping cost.

HOWEVER in most countries, you have to pay taxes or duties on imported goods. Sometimes goods under a certain value, or in certain categories, do not incur taxes.

The rules are different in every country. Unfortunately there is no way for our sellers to know the rules, regulations, customs, traditions, practices, loopholes, schemes, systems, paperwork, codes, laws, or rulings of every single country.

Therefore, we cannot, and will not, offer advice about taxes in your country. As the buyer, it is your responsibility to find out that information before you order.

If you have to pay import taxes and/or additional duties and sales taxes, then you would have to pay that to the courier upon receipt of the package(s). We can't calculate this for you and there is no way to pre-pay it. If you are drop-shipping or sending a gift item to someone, please make sure they are aware of the possibility of having to pay taxes when receiving the goods.

Please find out as much as you can about your import taxes in your own country before completing your order. If you find out information about the import tax situation in your country, and you believe there are ways to minimize the taxes you have to pay (or eliminate the taxes altogether), just tell the seller what you need by putting instructions (regarding labeling, packing, declarations, invoices, etc.) in the comments field during checkout. Our sellers are more than happy to follow your instructions.

How can I leave a feedback?

Once you complete your transaction, you can leave the feedback as the evaluation to the seller. And your feedback will be shown in his/her feedback page. That is one of the important information for other buyers decide to cooperate with them or not.

Why LinkChina can't remove Feedback?

In most cases, the Feedback comments you’ve received cannot be removed. Because Feedback represents members’ opinions, LinkChina cannot edit these comments. Members are responsible for their own words.

What does the star next to my Feedback Score mean?

Feedback stars are awarded to LinkChina members for achieving 1 or more Feedback points.

You receive:

One star ( ) = 1 to 49 points
Two stars ( ) = 50 to 99 points
Three stars ( ) = 100 to 249 points

One diamond ( ) = 250 to 449 points
Two diamonds ( ) = 450 to 849 points
Three diamonds ( ) = 850 to 1299 points

One crown ( ) = 1300 to 1999 points
Two crowns ( ) = 2000 to 2699 points
Three crowns ( ) = 2700 to 3499 points

What are the recent feedback ratings?

The recent Feedback ratings table shows the number of overall Feedback ratings this member received during the last month, last 6 months, and last 12 months. These numbers include repeat buyers and sellers.

For each transaction, a buyer and seller are allowed to rate each other by leaving Feedback. Buyers can leave either positive, negative, or neutral feedback, and a short comment. Sellers can leave positive feedback and a short comment if they choose to do so.

If recent Feedback ratings are generally positive, it’s probably a good sign. But we recommend you review other information in your trading partner’s Feedback Profile, including detailed seller ratings (if available), and the comments the member has received and left for others.

How is the Positive Feedback Percentage Calculated?

The positive Feedback percentage is calculated based on the total number of positive and negative Feedback ratings for transactions that ended in the last 12 months.

Note: This could mean that the number of ratings used for this calculation is different from the same number shown in the Recent Ratings table.

What are the Detail Seller Ratings?

Detailed seller ratings provide a more complete picture of the member’s performance as a seller.

When buyers leave an overall Feedback rating (positive, neutral, or negative) for a seller, they can also leave detailed seller ratings in three areas: item as described, communication, shipping time.

The detailed seller rating system is based on a one- to five-star scale. Five stars is the highest rating, and one star is the lowest rating.

The detailed seller ratings table shows the seller’s average ratings and the number of ratings they’ve received. Average ratings are computed on a rolling 12-month basis, and will only appear when at least ten ratings have been received.

Payment

Escrow Service, What is Escrow?

Escrow service can reduce the potential risk of fraud by acting as a trusted third party that collects, holds and disburses funds according to Buyer and Seller instructions. In this case: LinkChina, while the seller ships the items to the buyer. When the buyer confirms the delivery and is satisfied with the items, LinkChina will release the payment to the seller.

Protection for both Buyer and Seller

Buyers receive and inspect the merchandise before the Seller is paid.

Sellers receive their money if the Buyer accepts the merchandise.

What if a seller offers to sell me something directly, by passing LinkChina?

If you receive offers from the sellers to complete transactions directly without going through LinkChina we urge you not to respond and to notify us as soon as possible. If you accept to deal directly with a seller you will have no one to turn to should your items not arrive or not be what you expect. LinkChina cannot help you get an exchange or refund if you choose to forgo our services during the buying process. With our escrow service, the payment is not released until we're sure that you are satisfied with your purchase.

Combined Orders

To pay for multiple orders at once, you can go to “My Account” and then click on the "Pay my orders" link.

After you click on the "Pay my orders" link, you will be able to see all the unpaid orders listed. You can then select the orders you want to pay. The total will automatically be added up. After pressing the "Submit" button, you will be taken to PayPal, Credit Cards, Wire Transfer, and Western Union to complete the payment process.

Our goal is to promote a safe place for our members to buy and sell. When transaction problems occur, we provide assistance by making communication between members easier and by providing services to help protect you against fraud.

What do we expect?

The best way to resolve a problem transaction is to communicate directly with your seller. Most sellers welcome the opportunity to work out problems and provide good customer service.

How do I open a dispute?

There are two reasons for disputes:

Closing a dispute

If the dispute is resolved, you can close the dispute so LinkChina can release your payment to the seller.

Note: If you have not closed the dispute within 20 days, it will be automatically closed. When a dispute is automatically closed, you are not eligible to submit a dispute to LinkChina, and your payment will be released to the seller.

Approving a dispute resolution

In some cases, the seller may submit a resolution. In this case, you will read the details of the resolution on the Dispute page. Once you approve the resolution, LinkChina staff will process the order according to the approved resolution.

To approve a dispute resolution:

Before a dispute resolution is approved, the status of the order is " Pending approval on dispute resolution". However, after the dispute resolution is approved, the status becomes " Agreement reached; pending LinkChina to follow up".

Submitting a dispute to LinkChina

If the dispute is not resolved within 19 days, you can decide to escalate the case by submitting it to LinkChina. By doing so, you request LinkChina to be an impartial judge.

Once a dispute is submitted to LinkChina, the status of the order becomes " Dispute submitted to LinkChina"

Escalated Disputes

If you're still unable to resolve the problem, you can escalate the dispute to a claim. A dispute can be escalated to ask LinkChina to review the case and decide the outcome. LinkChina will take on effective action to safeguard all customers' right.

For every dispute submitted to LinkChina, both buyer and seller are required to submit evidence, including tracking document, etc in 5 business days, our decision for a case will be announced another 5 business days after received all the documents.
